Every now and then, living in a foreign country gets to you. It gets to you to the point, where your body fully  rejects everything about that country. Especially the constant humidity, the screaming cicadas and copious amounts of spicy food that might also have tentacles of baby squid in it.

Luckily just when you think you are nearing a breaking point, you find a place French-themed village with little bakeries, coffee shops and markets. Provence Village in Paju, is just such a place. It's small and there's not that much to see or do, but the change in Architecture, the color on the walls and the "French" bakeries are enough to give you some escape for a little while.

If you are an expat that live in Korea, you might have an idea of what I'm talking about and here are some photos to give you an idea to how it looks and feels at Provence Village.
