Walking around in the neighborhood of Hongdae can make a man quite hungry. Luckily Hongdae has many places to eat, that are unique and have quite a few delicious options on their menus. Miss Burger is no different.

Usually when one looks at a menu, you know that you get the reduced version of the picture, but it's not the case with Miss Burger. Here you can get what you see. This is definitely a place to visit in Hongdae when you get hungry. The burgers have fresh and tasty ingredients and are quite affordable for what you get on your plate.

I had the Miss Cheese burger and I couldn't have made a better choice for myself. The cola is extra and drives the price up a bit, but the set is so delicious and needs a cola to complete it.

Naturally I have to make a separate post for a little place I discovered. Thanks to Martina and Simon and there post on this little find in Hapjeong. Check out their post HERE. Now the restaurant... It sells croquettes and is filled with deliciousness. We ordered the cream basil, potato, tomato, curry and fruit croquettes. Although all of them are delicious, the fruit croquettes are my favorite.

They taste like apple pie, complete with the apples and cinnamon.

It's quite cheap to eat and would really recommend to eat it, once you go to Hapjeong. They make fantastic snack food. :)

This "Kitchen" can be found in a restaurant, called "Big Bread", located in Hwajeong. I say "kitchen", because it looks like an old style farm kitchen (except for the candy of course, but imagine sugar, flour and coffee beans in those glass jars).
The farm style decor of this restaurant, makes me feel at home whenever I visit it.
"Big Bread" is Belgium restaurant, they serve very delicious Belgium food as well as coffee, candy and biscuits. It's the only place that I know of that sells meringues and ginger bread men and it reminds me of home. I don't feel like I'm in Korea when I visit this beautiful restaurant and I go there whenever I want to feel a little closer to home.

It's well worth a visit and I think I will do a post on this restaurant very soon.

Hapjeong always surprises me and last Thursday was no different. I went to this nice little place that sells all kinds of croquettes. The had the normal potato, some creamy one, a curry, tomato and a fruit one. The fruit one tasted like apple pie. Yummy.

After dinner I was walking around and stumbled on an amazing shop, restaurant and a huge dog.

At first I was surprised with this building having a accident staged on the inside. It looked as if though it was just after a massive sandstorm and all that was left was this shop. The "Gentle Monster" shop only sells sunglasses. It's an amazing ploy to get people to stop and wonder what on earth are they selling. Although not enough to actually make me buy anything. It just gives you an idea to what people will do to get your attention.

Just a little walk down the same street I saw a restaurant that looks as if it was inspired by "Wicked- The musical". It looked great from the outside and I really expected the cast to jump out at any moment.

And last but not least the big fluffy white dog. This tiny Korean girl walked past with this huge dog. I just felt the need to stop her and ask if I could take a picture. I really wished that I had my camera with me. Thank goodness for cell phones.
