In September 2013, I met a friend and he showed me around the beautiful area of Hongdae. In the nearby area you can find the Hongik University, lots of coffee shops with their unique decor, clothing stores and lots of restaurants. This is a great area to hang out with you friends for shopping during the day and partying the night away.
Hongdae is definitely on my list of places to see in Korea.
