Visiting the Deoksugung palace, you can see some of the guards, dressed in their traditional outfits. This guy is playing the role of the leader of the guards and basically gives all orders to the other guards. He oversees that everything runs smoothly. 

These guards stand for hours on end outside these gates and I can't help to feel sorry for them. I thought it wise to capture a piece of  "History" as it were a few hundred years ago.
