Townske’s mission is to help you, as a traveller, to uncover cities through people you like. Be inspired on your daily commute to work, for your next holiday with beautifully created magazine-like city guides, written by users like yourself. When you’re at the destination, easily recall a list of places you discovered on the Townske app and go visit them.

Townske is a social platform for travel where users can:

1. Research and discover venues from city guides with vibrant and beautiful photos created by other users.
2. Create city guides to share recommendations eg. Best cafes in NYC or Favourite rock climbing spots in Bali.
3. Follow users with similar taste to see what they are liking and who they are following.
4. Like guides or places and save them to be recalled when you’re ready to use them.

So far there are over 3,000 city guides from all over the world, representing 300 cities. The guides cover a wide range of interests and niches, including where to get great coffee.

Co-founder, Daniel Clark says

With Townske we want to change the way people travel. Moving them from only visiting tourist traps and empowering them to find the truly amazing experiences that usually, only the locals know about. If we can do this, people are going to have a much more enjoyable time.

Townske is already building a very passionate community of locals and travellers.
